Allright those of you trying to learn and where the star stuff a little much for you in the beginnings try this:
Learn to identify the trigram types within a toss and what each represents as those are the main environments as you will always find things matching up to those of any toss and as major items they represent.
Study the various meanings attributed to Upper or the higher trigram as opposed the Lower, etc trigram of a hexagram.
Study the element relationship of one trigram environment to the other. etc and then under a given month or date strength wise.
Even simpler make it a point to read the commentary on a hexagram and it's line texts as well, with mainly the changes line needing to be considered.
Consider it's context relative the hexagram name, and to the trigram areas or items associated the trigram that the line is within. Beyond that you can consider the text as applying to many other types of situations as well.
Over time some that may appear to be unrelated nonsense at first you'll come to understand as integral to the particular situation or it's scope later. Rome not built in a day, give yourself some time and it will pay off for you.
Any iching book or that on net for iching can get you there.
Later whenever you feel ready or more ready you can start learning the wwg, most of the rules at superiching.com and you can follow that here to apply them and the other resources there too.
In any case you have that here to read as far as the how's of using and applying for the *what's up or main core* at the daily level to guide you.

There are more just giving you the main idea and says again how exacting any toss using the wwg is in it's accuracy.

Some might uneccessarily get excited on the health stuff, but that's the wwg itself and it does always alert one to any dangers which certainly includes the health of your own body too.
In tcm each organ, etc of the body is assigned a specific element and polarity and even a natural timing cycle of interactions which the wwg naturally picks up on.
In fact it's going to show you that whether you want it to or not as that's part of what the wwg naturally does, and it is extremely accurate in such.
If you ask about your health and if there's anything very serious the B, K and R stars will point you right too it in an unmistakeable way.
It can actually notify one several days or more in advance before any symptoms even start showing up, but most if they felt good wouldn't pick up on that info.
Including me as often have had indications ahead once in awhile of other tosses but don't pay it any thought being too involved in other things too and then it pops.
It always has surprised me how quickly things can change too.
If get what you think may be a forewarning and have no symptoms then you should toss to confirm that's what it is before getting excited about.

Have the mil tactical shooter types most like, but I like the space empire colonizing, diplomacies, etc besides combat etc all woven in the best. Playing vs AI or the PC is more than adequate and passes the time.
On those *you usually end up having to purchase several* to find the one or ones that will suit you best. That's as most are deceptionately advertised in videos to look better than they really are. That and gamers sites for describing them are usually bribed somewhat too. On sites for the products or actual gameplaying should be more actual test demos on products they try to sell as that would lower the confusion factors in purchasing.
StarCraft II still reigns as best great speed and actions interactive to me, but have some other various Empire types both fast and slow paced with those xtra features that like just as well.
Some of the latter named different these days but are actually spin offs of the old 8 bit apple and pc, etc days. Interstellar sharks was one of several back then.
One cute dungeon like type is TorchLight which does have *an excellent strongly functional free demo* kids and adults can both enjoy at various skill levels. Has a story line type scenario with a lot of interactive characters for various quests you can accept or not from them and just great graphics with interactive actions your character along with his dog and sometimes other companions take as you search through the mines below the city. One of the better of that type had seen.
Some may think I'm too assertive in some of my statements with the wwg but those would be the same who have little actual understanding of the overall subject.

Being a retired military and veteran who did serve his country in combat overseas and on the ground gives me the right to state that as I see it on any subject.

Don't presume I have any comm with the other chinese teachers I just acknowledge their works which is proper and each probably has some untaught additional of which I'm not aware so I respect them.

After reading todays news on the Windows 8 announcement other than the more tablet like touch approach but some of the basic structure sounds just like that of a Macbook Pro no less, on that of the launchpad and other, etc. Sounds like it will be a very well liked system to me.
Similiarity in some ideas anyway as the Macbook Pro is Unix structured about like most linux's except a much more advanced commercial form the Lion and almost out Mountain Lion Os types.
Highly competitive areas and more windows softwares and programs are available for these Mac's as well these days and they are built like tanks very durable and very secure to boot.
Ought to be interesting as like both.

Figured out most complaints about some star wars versions and star point gemini are that people didn't put enough time into working with them. After all Lucas Arts known for quality games softwares. No pain no gain.
Got some of the same mentioned and all work and level up just fine. All had great graphics and movie type scenes to boot.
Most made for x-boxes and pc's but some now run on the Macbook Pro Apple series as well, which of the 13" version has stunning graphics beating the average pc by miles there.
Had another down zone but this takes my mind off it all and just hold a machine in the lap and lean back for comfort works well. Wife had thought a good idea as well so no conflict there.
Probably get a cheap wood stand built for that purpose to elevate better also.
Add the hidden gps trackings to the machines as a lot of investment to it. Since not much I can do or sustain at doing the investment has been definately worth it and do like the idea of beta testing too.
One good thing is after registering your stuff is in the cloud too always available for you, technology is pretty neat nowadays in that regard.

Good news in an announcement of a breakthrough in talks with a agreement with N Korea today. Physical and then destined changes of the Gry 6th Gsh stars too.
Ok avoided getting too much in the comparisons on the machines as way different in costs and purposes, etc. One can say more flexibilities at less costs until you start adding in antivirus and other on typical windows equipped pc's that sure add up over time, then more vibrant color, video systems and synthesizers in mac's with likely more durability as are very strongly built with better initial security no doubt then after that it's pretty up to the user. As said I definitely like both for their separate reasons.
In any seems the hardwares work for higher quality graphics at the smaller screen sizes while for a given amount of ram and video dram really have to stretch themselves on the larger screen versions. An area I made a switch on for games purposes.

That of Apple (TM) another story though unlike the old Apple II and IIE series days where you got the famed Redbook that laid out the entire archetecture for you, the Macbooks (R) come up very short there in the inclusion department.

Their features are definitely great and made for the user there but a book on archetecture and the Os itself on the order of the old Apples is quite lacking and a big letdown. Some of the better games specifically made or converted to it's os have a more shielded environment to run in so fewer problems there].
Will have to explore for more written on the os yet, but a lot similiar to linux there and perhaps that of X-code will be of some aid and possibly some answers there as well.
Mention all this as between my microcontroller and other kits then these pc's plus the normal of some small house stuff, my games, these posts for U.S. and all while teaching the wwg iching within them and taking care of myself to boot keeps me just *endlessly* busy. Never ever bored though.
Looked into thw Mac Os X stuff some, think ordering some decent books may be helpful but disappointing that have too. They do have in the cloud of their and others forums info you could spend light years online sifting through, but don't like that approach.
Basically starts just like unix aka linux structures so review the file systems and the bash stuff again my step 1 then like any other os to go further requires Objective C use. Had did a little of all that in Linux quite some time back but never much beyond basic or practical levels.
Once there then useing within x-code for app's themselves. So a book that covers that in a basic a-z manner would be the quickest if can find such. Seems likely there'd be something out there that does cover the simplified for a good total overview of all that.
After hours of search and read looks doable carefully searched their app store found 3 helpful tutorial ebooks at a whopping 99 cents each that with the x-code will get it all started.

Most can very much appreciate the name which is it's named likeness to Zhen as the *The Devil of Ferocity*, and also goes along with the Yel color in wwg which besides Gry includes those sudden jolts at the centers of where ever you physically are.

So Yel is not always a bad color although can be too conservative as of Saturn's character but is a true centered conservative and of seasoned practicality which implies common sense a measure of intelligence as in maturity itself. So it's median and takes in the extremes of too far left or right but only in intelligent and practical ways.
That of feng shui is best understood in the long haul sense where it's attributes are easily recognized and understood, as our tornado ally itself verifies.
It is good to know something of feng shui for your home, business and daily livings vis the long term, many laugh at that in the past but is really not a joke and can be beneficial to employ.

Added anti theft stuff on the Mac today had gps tracking already on other now this too with alarms no less is pretty cool. Using machines about equally as Windows runs more app's I use, but for the visual and aural effects and some areas of productions, features is a superior machine in qualities so like the Mac better.
Another area on my Mac is it's nice to look and see very low disk activity levels too.
With several items running at the moment have between 96 to 98% idle on CPU use which includes less than 2% activity itself for it's system processes and about .33% in user type.
Have never seen that on any Windows (TM) machine I've owned. Says the CPU should run pretty cool and see much less wear and tear on the drive itself for a better life span.
Add windows on in a month or so, may play with the virtual Win type first as don't need games initially , that's slower though so eventually must add windows on drive itself for the speed in some of my Win work app's.
When initially first used the Mac it couldn't read windows or dos formats on cd's or usb and had thought pretty unusual as any linux os will read them.
A few days ago recieved an Os update and now it reads those as it should so was probably the whole problem right there, and should be able to bootcamp the windows in on next shot.

For those of a sector all other are considered as affecting the selected star type where timeliness a factor in each and the 81 combinations guide for each.
Then from that assessment you decide what elements to add to enhance or drain as needed that will promote the selected star in a positive way.
So that's pretty detailed stuff and you have to be very careful and methodical in your examinations, *however the link mentioned and others similar can be useful in giving you basic ideas for setting things up in general as opposed to the drawn out and very detailed exam I mentioned.

Alternately if your skilled in the wwg you can toss for frame desired at the house level which will auto include the outside environment properties of the land and then for further details if desired you can then toss on each room for the same frame.
From that or those tosses you can assess then set up or make any adjustments based on the fang shui within the wag via colors, lines, stars etc indicated for each area.

In general had I'd been fortunate enough to have had a good feng shui background would have never bought my current home. The center aka heart of a home is very important as to relationships and if has quarrels, etc type energy there, then most relationships inner and outer won't be of healthy or positive types.
I know theoretically we are supposed to be above those things but doesn't quite work out so, and just as it shows a lot of relationships have been mal as that is what's attracted to it. Wouldn't matter if the owners were a priest or a nun of high moral fabric or what ever, the results would still be the same.
These days too late I well understand it all and have professional softwares and same in knowledges to do any home, biz etc with and in the main I use for trackings and other studies things here too.

Though sounds funny it's simply a book type *in which flying stars has been made very easy* by Master Joeseph Yu, Master Val Biktashev and Elizabeth Moran. Jam packed with many good info's.
While dealing with the whole house might be a bit tedious and honestly quite rough for most, learning just that to calc the time, moutain and water star for the *most critical center palace aka sector are* is within the grasp of nearly all.
Pick a home or apartment which has good combinations for heart aka center palace area and you'll never regret it. Very much wish I had.
Most of us are stuck with what we have for various reasons.
That's also a good motivation for learning at what ever level is best for yourself how to make feng shui type improvements to each room environment. Properly done you can still enhance your and family luck in them and quality of experience as well.
So when the better timings for auspaciousness in them come around you will benefit more.

Ok often running studies stuff through my mind and don't give some areas enough thought when giving example conditions.
I consider my wife as much the home owner as I in case came off inferred otherwise, our own stuff was rocky a number of years this house was not a plus influence for what was already difficult then but were quite settled and all that is old hat. Just that of the flying stars and the 81 combinations can catch an incredible amount of stuff running from the trivial of certain daily frustrations to small injuries and on up to life threatening or deadly conditions.
The other better sides to do with timings or frames for opportunities, romances or special occasions with your partner, marriages, money or career luck for the home and yourself also can be easily found in that system.
That and in them all you can differentiate which is good which is not all ahead as it's all just part of known cycles period.
Even that of my ill house center still has one hidden actual plus to it, but I reserve that type of info to myself.

Had watched couple DVD type movies bought at px prior on it as well and the results which use Apple's (TM) Quicktime (R) are the same and just extrordinary.
Isn't anyone who hasn't listened to some music on youtube and it's always fully accessable to windows users, and all cell phone systems whereas on a Mac had to add firefox or chrome and adobe flash for that.
Still use Windows 7 on another pc as most my work or study softwares made for that and prior windows os's but do have one quality 24 Mountains Feng Shui program on the Mac also. Each machine has their purposes and do great jobs in them.

Will watch news once in awhile but not that often, had done friday and even one of the reasons came up being that to do with experts. We all tend to listen to them and when they are introduced in certain ways we give them immediate credibility.

So that is why I won't watch or listen to news much nowadays to avoid being temptuously sucked in on things experts say is so. Temptuous as who want to be wrong or look stupid so we lean towards the experts.
If you noticed in this year's CNY forecast which was done in January's blog that I said very little if anything about jobs or the economy though could have added a bit I suppose.
What I did was rather than be influenced by those curiosities and any of experts views on such, was stick to what I always should: That the wwg shows as the main and important.
As irregardless of how many people feel on other things it will be what the wwg shows important that will be main and steady in the year affecting them.
Also unsaid most of the time is that of the feng (fung) shui (sway) components stars aka flying stars for the year showing the major emphasis and nature of things at the center and it's difference from that of the previous year.

Today's for here was ran as the chinese day start or 00:05 12 Mar there for Mar 11th here yields correct 20th lunar day.
You can try 00:00 but not thought good idea in way numbers crunch and the last of hr t is as close as it gets but will still provide the correct day start of the typical 11pm type as a chart.
The lunar day is counted from day of new moon until day prior of next one, only exception is if new moon occurs very late as in last hour of hr h up to just before midnight then the 1st lunar day is date of the following. You can count off against any normal calendar for that.
Mention counting versus a calendar yourself as a lot of net types are off, also a good habit to do for yourself counting off from and marking a regular calendar with the lunar date numbers, nearly impossible to go wrong there.
That of the Chinese Farmers Almanac put out by Master Tsai in California is also always accurate in that and a wide range of things for those who want the auto.

For those interested which was definitely many from initial shocks in news yesterday relative Afghanistan but personally find that of Iraq and it's useless police just as appalling, disgusting, low cast and neandathrallic, etc.
My comments may not be so good for diplomacies but if look at Timing marker chart of the full moon period at top the Wht 6th Kyo stars including certain of police etc far aways are month struck and useless so in step with what is shown. Anyway got desparate and backed off all that for a full solid week but resumed my daily energy drinks 1 to 2 at maximum with always *lots of water* and the result was all that scary and hurting type of pain went totally away by the end of that week!
Now for a bit over a week started eating those again just twice in the expanse so far and with a full bottle of water included in that, and has went fine that way so far.

This type you can draw yourself using the instructions and videos of the one site had mentioned prior.
Overlay the long haul of directions as sectors and from your home's type aka sitting direction trigram as F1 which you identified as opposite the compass reading for the main used door as facing direction.
You label the rest of the directions using the Kua type the home's sitting trigram aka F1 from charts for E -W home types on the net or from a book like one had listed prior and below.
Those are permenent designations for the long haul which should always be considered and as it was in all well former structures. Each has uses and functions.
Adding the trigrams for those other direction, sectors further describes each areas innate characteristics too which can be enhanced or reduced by a number of methods. Some of the bad directions can be used for utility or shed storage areas, etc.
Left out floorplans on the chart posted at the top.
Chart shown includes additionally the house construction base and Xuan Kong flying stars within also.
The main wealth direction and sector in the home and any of the E -W 8 Mansions system is the F1 Sheng Chi direction.
In Xuan Kong it's the sector with the #8 facing water star appearing in the upper rightmost of the sector.
East Zhen home type built 2002 in Period 7 and used a female occupant of birth kua 7 as well.

As you would expect the huge of not very often but can be found timing wise and the medium to lessor at more frequent intervals.
The great wealth or fortune down to lessor should run same that as it just reflects life.
In those will be zones aka time frames in which can be found and in which there are multiples of the event types going on all at once too. Then at other times can be quite peaceful, etc.
Advantage of doing is you know the specifics of the types of things plus or minus which will come up, many of their timings also, and with the home ruling a good many of those you can improve things for yourself and the entire family.

That's not my house type if curious, but know some with that type and can tell you the minus of the illness types *do and have came up* exactly as such in some of them as well. Plus we only looked at two sectors, and have also seen some of the major positives that applied as well.

Timed #39 - #8 and all you had of any main area was indicated at correct times including of locals or close by's.
Brought a few jolts to ours early am and then of physical's Blk Bs stars and probably some other after. Hr e of a retreated or pasts Re star bonded the physical for jolty. mental or loose canon play or other K star stuff for influencings it appears. Even tremors some places would have been possible with the FS#3 star for their centers.
Daily FS can be applied to the home or structure charts as well.
Added the FSP chart as you can see that's purely Xuan Kong flying stars of the home
which can be set to add the Annual and monthly time stars to the sectors as well.
FSP also uses both the Pakua and BaGua layouts but just the personals and not visually
overlaid, but as separate charts.
It does have quite a number of other positive features which more than compensate for that though with the 81 codes built in and drop down menu selectable 4 ways to assess the star combinations of any given sector within the home or structures areas using them which is nice.
Especially as it's easy to get twisted around at times if you do a number of them by hand.

[12:28pm hr w Made a Ntl news chk and saw a few videos and feel pretty good about that toss as it also for begins and surfaces has a *Wht W's Py aggressives happenings star* which connects to a Kc skies, etc star there.
Was an ABC weather video and it showed some *very assertive, agressive* rain, floods, flood warnings, etc happenings stuff came from Texas to and through Loiusianna and Alabama last night and in todays.
So no question about those meanings in it's prediction(s), as I had not been following the Ntl picture closely and no maps except what read and saw on tornados, nor local other than deciding to toss from what a weather lady mentioned in ad or msg form a few nights back.
On local usually catch some of the news titles that appear on yahoo and look into those once in awhile. Shyed away from watching after that msg as have to stay independent or uninfluenced as all know for the tosses.

Looking back was a little snappy there and Saturday was the first day in near a week I didn't feel really weak and have to take a nap. Leading into that walking had become dangerous too. That of feng shui in the long term of a home holds up very well as far as specific types of energies and their interactions in specific direction ranges (sectors) over time.
There are 81 codes that accurately show what can and will occur for any occupying a given structure *in the long term*.
Those are quite observable things and we can accept what we see and experience easily enough.
It all relates to mainly space as magnetically referenced locations of objects for that within them also and time itself so it's something slightly more than just gravity itself.
Something associated and involving magnetics and gravity also that results in the energy differences.
Those are referred to as 9 different yin and yang associations to element types making for the stars as they call them.
The precise of and why unknown with only their effects known.
Ok familiar with Gravity as a force and it's units the Newton and Gal as well as use of the formulas themselves so not dense on the subject.
In flying stars the Yellow #5 star depicted in the center of the original Lo Shu squares depicts the centers of things and that of the earths molten core as well. It's at that point in which Gravity exerts it's strongest force. Interesting some of that understood thousands of years ago.
Guess other not so unknown in relaxation it came to me that the early chinese thought of the planetary influences as rays also.
More interesting is the amazing practicality of it in the flying stars.
Just as we know an astro chart can represent any given structure and show the various aspects of the plus and minus that will go on for the structures, this was done in a much more practical but timing predictive way via the flying stars of the Lo Shu square.
Exact birthdates were not needed because they looked for only the most major timings to affect areas of a structure and the occupants within.
Those in turn should correlate to actual major planetary aspects including dashas of vedic system likely as well, but in a much more practically direct, easy and useful way.
As I had recorded both ways and in which then the vedic system also confirmed near the doorway to boot, when I had my accident and this will bare out for other incidents within structures and given sectors as well.
All in all it's a very unique way of laying it out in an easy format and an amazingly efficient system using 81 codes (combinations) for it.
What rather tickles me there is that the vedic presented that in rather a foggy way in terms of the king and his palace and doorway for year then, plus taking the dashas, etc down to the time, but much later this month in fact using the chinese codes for *that month and area* they were extremely clear be careful of accidents and serious injuries to the legs areas, etc*.

The only personal info needed in this system is one's year of birth only* and that alone determines your Kua # to be used in the feng shui charts of structures.
It in the practical and easy the FS home chart took it straight to *the month* expressing the personal areas and items that are very susceptable and likely be affected in that home area, pretty much right in your face it's that clear.
That can also just as easily be further taken down *to one of three days* of that month for an occupant.
Mine popped on the first one the heavens stem that date for things in begins and at surfaces was

Very practical, potent, straight forward and useful stuff to know.
Useful not only in that regard but also just as solid and useful in the areas of one's wealth and prosperity, marriages and that of their job opportunities and natures, and again in terms of their exact timings for one.
Not theoretically but of that which I directly know and have experienced for a fact! In that the actual characteristics and generalities of relationships within them was exactly as the feng shui predicted, forecast for it.
Had never fully known as in put all the facets of feng shui correctly together before or understood it that well prior, seemed deceptively simple but is actual fact and as of this month do know exactly how to apply it in any area for anyone as well.

Irregardless of cures this is something you can and should do for yourself also. It will really open your eyes and improve the quality of your own life as a by product.
It's the understanding of just how and why the said cures for that work that's even more peculiar and makes little sense to most of us.
Again though one could observe their effects as to using or not.
In that it can only come down to the element types themselves of specific yin or yang qualities *as actually having the correct energy* needed to offset or absorb to bring the other into balance as they say does.

There the wwg iching does verify such as I've asked questions regarding the cure and enhancement of given home areas with it.
Turns out the element of the K star (Cure) of the first toss on it always correctly indicates that needed.
That's using 6 coins with the resulting hexagrams often not making much sense and only the K star itself provides the answer with it's state not important only the element.
I counter checked each result against the actual star numbers for the room areas and it's the very
same as what would have been chosen for it that adding in the year and month star to that location.
So that's a proof in itself and why I have accepted it.
Then the wwg itself is showing that it's important to factor in the annual year and monthly star influences to each sector as well as far as cures or enhancements for them go. That and the importance of the month has always been factored into the wwg itself.

Some may question the iching as I've used it but *it too has limits* and has to be used properly.
I try to make a square peg fit in a round hole by using 6 coins.
It's fast and efficient and good enough in many areas including the above, but not all.

Trying to apply all multi change line rules to it doesn't work so well as 6 coins has only 1 change line and can't fully accomodate certain rules meant for multiple change lines themselves.

Anything where a single toss must handle multi variables in mass should be done with multi change line tosses!

That of weather in particular should be done by the 3 coin or similar to stalks method as that's what it was originally defined with and does have a mass number of variables to it.
Trying to apply *it's rules* to 6 coins a single change line system is the square peg in round hole way of trying to get a match there and doesn't work well enough in that application.
My results here show that *as it takes the multi change line type* to make a decision in that case which was what I had forgotten was used a year prior in a test.
In 6 coins I often can't make a good decision on that subject using *the multi change line rules*.
To 6 coins plus do usually get things for a local (ours) to involve the correct lines 1 & 2 and have done remarkably well on the hour parts.
Does lack in the solid decision ability for the yes/no on rain itself using *their rules*.
So at best can say it may rain but not that it will rain. *That's the difference*.

If I ignore their rules altogether and had read as 6 coins only then it had shown directly on the 2nd toss it would rain here vis 6 coins. I took all the hours directly from that pair.

Technically that 2nd toss was strongest friday but still applies to here locally Saturday and Sunday at lessor levels.
In 6 coins itself these last few days reveal that unlike multi change line types a line produced Void star meaning when it's the resultant star and being produced by the primary then that void star can interact with and influence other lines by bounding including forming a bond or clash to another line's star(s).
That's not allowed in traditional wwg the multi change lines types when the star is Void, but definately works and turns out to be the case in 6 coins!
Can state that now as was an area of confusion to me prior when tried to use only multi change line rules. Most remember in past I considered void stars as not so weak but of dark or yin sided and natured types instead and it has bore out well in this weeks tosses here and my own also, we just will remember that for void stars with 6 coins as a specific rule for it.
So that's one gain specific for 6 coins at least.

Also for you the observing doing the reading here no matter which toss system used the given results or hexagram pairs are a response to a *specific question*.
In some such as a specific location the variables do change with time and in those cases the same question may be asked at different intervals where major changes have taken place.
Though we know that it captures other ongoings we can only be sure of the themes we list and not the specific results of any of the other ongoings, events.
Mainly because we didn't address or ask of them, many might correctly reflect and should but never could it be guaranteed all would.
Friday I forgot the Quarrels is a good hexagram for stocks and one I've mentioned in past as such, but was concentrating only on rain and themes I was looking at so just lumped it with those there.
There's nothing wrong with that as again it was not even remotely part of my actual question, and it's only the question we can be sure of getting the correct answer for.
As for weather by the book method should use the traditional wwg of 3 coins and it's 6 line tosses method for the decision ability in that, my opinion. It was structured for that and can handle more simultaneous varibles per toss than the 6 coins.
So any errors were mine in rules versus systems hangups and not the iching's.

If we do get that picky about it then I will stop tossing on any matter whatsoever here as the 3 coins is just too time consuming in the overall for doing the daily tosses reliably here.
Here is rarely a quiet environment due to several factors and is needed for such and one of the main problems to it. With 6 coins I can get around that issue much better as it's lightening fast.

The stars on the physical are void in this case and the enemy stars on the Object line are opposing or attacking in it's gua those of same type as and competing with the physical's so a little different. Also those of wealth etc type in outer gua which will bond to one of the others competing stars, etc. Not enemy of physical neccessarily in most case.
Take the use of the word enemy very liberally here as of B stars in advance so many other meanings apply as well.
Was some interesting articles on prior events one of those last friday in news today plus another incident involving a flight from the NE adding to yesterdays as well.

The basic 5 element types and expanded into the 10 heavenly stems and 12 earthly branches each of the latter being of a specific *polarity* yin or yang with combinations in some. That's the chinese element signs we use here. Those and then that of the main element energies associated trigrams which in feng shui are used as specific star types.
So on that standpoint I cannot just say that placements of specific material objects and their associated elements will not affect the sectors within a home. It would be wrong to make that judgement so as said I don't disrespect the views of others on such currently.
There's even more to my decision there as in certain of the Chinese and other Asian cultures some of those items as mentioned before tie into their basic beliefs in some cases that's religous as well.
Many homes have an alter with the fixture or symbolizations of their higher power and angels often accompanied with various sysmbols of fortune, candles and incense sticks which they light on specific days and at times when they do their prayers also.
Some of those times associate major commemorative festivals of their higher power or angels plus man's.
In older western churches including those of christianity there are also specific festival days which accompany remembrances and worships also.
So rather than disrespecting any one of many religions that have incorporated such things I believe in respecting them all, or respecting that of a given individuals even if my own views favor another or are different.
That as the great tao, iching and feng shui all are very strong on teaching us to learn to be at harmony with others in our relationships.
So all that factors into why I don't diss that of using physical objects as cures by others as it can and well may be applied according their beliefs or religion which is and are very personal matters.
I do believe the most practical and true cures are those of the actions taken by people themselves in affecting the environments. Such actions are the uses of energy and of specific energy types are elemental also and in that is how we can affect the environment to a much greater level than some material object itself would.
In the present would say go ahead and use material objects or better the principles behind them and make those cure placements in your home if you'd like too, as it certainly can't hurt that's for sure and you just may get beneficial the results some state as a by product too.

Myself I have noted of facts that mine in areas of cures or benefits and as plus or minus's roll in under *long term timings aka timing itself* for a given sector itself anyway.
Some of those indeed require some type of personal actions to be taken and had I not then wouldn't have happened.
Also in that timing just as important was the roles of others playing into it, and when benefits are in and there by timing then most of the others in the appropriate positions move to make it come about!
The same can be said in some of the major negative effects as well, but in the overall once something is ordained by the heavens in long term it's locked in!

In the main and specific it's the Zen wood trigrams that associate storms and especially tornados, and this had been established as a standard here for a couple of years vis tosses alone.

Anyway if someone master or not infers to you that 6 coins is not a reliable wwg method either beat them profusely about the head or ask them to prove it.
That doesn't mean I say that 6 coins is better it's not, but it is highly accurate and quite reliable for a fact.
The traditional wwg simply potentially provides you more information for a given toss then 6 coins and in fine tuning it offers 4086 possibilities as opposed to the 386 of 6 coins.
That's one difference and another is the traditional offers you more definate great combo possibilities than 6 coins. That's due to at times getting 2 or more change lines on the correct lines for those of a single pair.
In some very critical matters or some where a lot of variables are involved with the subject then you must use the traditional for those.
In the great bulk of the everyday routine questions and basic yes/no answers all you need is 6 coins.
If I'm simply looking for a yes or a no answer itself, it doesn't matter which I use and I will indeed get the same result.

Well without elaborating further on the weather side, what any should have gotten out of this pair was that it was plain bad timing for any long distance trips especially via skies and that also that safeties would definately be troubled and struck. In the actual all is of written formats in which you essentially self teach yourself through application of the learning materials.
Had recently became a student in a specialized professional online course offered in the field on that and those subjects.
Obviously I have already had a very strong background in all it's essentials for quite some time now.
Due to that I did have a lot of doubts and internal conflict on the whole idea of taking an online course in the first place period.
Doubts laying in would there be really any new or useful informations in such a course that I didn't already have and more importantly could benefit from?
Like I already had every major book that's ever been published for the public on the subject, so would there yet be some small overlooked or left out details that would justify this expenditure and that would improve my own analysis and interpretations of hexagram results?
Turns out the answer is yes, there are just a few small hidden details left out of all books I know of, and of such a magnitude in effects that answers for most interpreters (not all) could be affected in result. Unfortunately that paticular info will have to remain status quo as putting it out would undermine those teaching institutions, something I won't do.

Minus some small informations not elaborated on to any extent in any of the books I've mentioned before, it's the procedures (steps) themselves in making an interpretation which is covered in more exacting and definitive detail by an online course than any book does.

To be fair that doesn't mean throw the books away, as you indeed can make useful analysis and interpretations by carefully following their procedures too. Many, many times that will lead you to the correct conclusion and answer.
Actually what I call an online course is *mainly in itself just another book*, except theoretically *if you need it* you should be able to get assistance from their teachers on any area or question on the subject matter you have.

One of the main and it's greatest advantage is in this let's say schooled learning method is that they thoroughly do *actually cover all possible cases* that will come up in using and applying their procedures aka steps to find the answer.
Calling it their procedure but is actually that of the original WWBG and not theirs in that sense but that they do in their teaching method totally and uniquely specifically define it all out in a very clear ways for the student too!
Most of the following on WWBG books is of just *my opinion* and how I surmise them and their usefulness which is also based from my personal experiences of having studied andused all of them for a decade in some cases.
All of other publically published books available include only the authors partial or preferred master procedure and while some close not the full master procedure of steps that should always be taken in an interpretation.
That's the huge difference in the nutshell as none of the other books use what is a fully complete set up master procedure of steps in the first place, that is comparable to the online school methods. However the online school methods come in the form of written packets or their book in the end result.
Excepting possibly superiching in terms of a likely full set of procedural steps.
Unlike an online course the superiching authur didn't exclusively in the direct focus on covering and detailing all specific cases though he may have wanted too.

The course does, whereas the superiching book focused more on different application areas and not on the all possible cases that arise using a master procedure itself!
The Secret of the Wen-Wang Gua book is the closest to mentioning nearly all the procedures and probably the best concise small book of including index 254 pages on the subject period.
However it fails to convey a coherently dedicated fixed emphasis to a singular master procedure as a unit, nor does it expand it's own to *all possible cases in it's few but very unique examples*.
It's a very technical book but one I expect that one could eventually generate their own master procedure with and certainly from learning all within find many correct answers in results also.
The I Ching Divination for Feng Shui and Destiny book 130-140 pages in size the most condensed and compact on WWBG.
Unfortunately it may no longer be available unless there are reprints somewhere and is a very concisely simplified and streamlined version of the WWBG.
It is in that quite a good reference to have on hand and will indeed get any up and running in that fast, but it's author still didn't cover all the different cases using his streamlined method that you'd run into.

He did however definitely give you just enough to get you well on your way there and you will probably satisfactorily find a great many correct and accurate answers using just that method and reference alone.
An added plus is that he separately included an excellent example of how to evaluate your home's feng shui using and via a toss on just that too!
The Authentic Iching book probably still available and least expensive one mainly uses timed versus WWBG toss examples of which was only one toss detailed of the latter.
Though the authors personal procedures were missing one or more details *theirs were nearly the same as the schools method*.
Unfortunately they obscured the clarity of using it with too much other non neccessary distracting verbages of other details inserted in the middle of examples using their metod. Then were extremely few examples shown for it. So made it harder for most to apply it and again certainly by a huge shot not all cases covered.
Oddly enough it was still a very useful book for learning the basics of several different Iching methods as well as constructing 4 pillars or bazi charts which share and source some of the same clashes and combinations, etc used in WWBG also. One with effort could also have been able to solve some of their own tosses using it as a reference also. In fact in the way they laid it out you could treat some of the timed charts just as if they'd been a 6 coins toss!
None of these WWBG books are that expensive ranging from around $14.95 to $26.95 and up to $50.00 at maximum with most obtainable at much cheaper costs depending on the source supplying.
In that sense every one of them is worth every penny of their costs and contain lots of always useable informations you'd have on hand for your interpretations in the WWBG.
One is actually made free in online form and appears chapters are downloadable to boot from what it shows at the site. That is the SuperIching book at superiching.com and it is a mother load in itself of useful informations on most WWBG elements besides it's method too.
In particular I've always liked the authors shorthand subscriptings for the stars and elements versus versus the more cumbersome and time consuming of having to write it all out in labeling your hexagrams. Especially for that convenience here.
Except for Superiching any others of books that have a forum are busier conducting seminar styled classes and do not support those who purchased their books all that well or at all.
Once you've bought the book don't expect much in replies to your questions, it's all self study there.
SuperIching also still has an active questions and answers forum available which appears very well moderated these days, so if interested in learning or have some hexagram results you need help with, do give them a shot.
Anyway in sum total and in my opinion the bottom line in the very easiest way to thoroughly learn the WWBG if you wish to attempt full mastery of the subject is to take one of the online school courses in it.
Barring that it is not impossible that some fewer can do just as well from a book alone over a 1 to 3 year period of time in very steady effort. That once they've formed their own strong set of learned experiences using it's method then adding a bit of their own to it.

The courses make that process much faster to maybe within 6 months to a year the main point.
The subject itself is not simple nor easier it's just more complete in better detailed procedures, some additional details of it's own that will eliminate a lot of confusions you'd run into other ways as you have all cases covered to refer too.
Courses encrypt their documents and I double encrypted a back up copy to boot in my case as seemed very first day someone was in my files as well. The response I got from the av people on the subject was not totally acceptable to my satisfaction either. So I then decided to encrypt all my own wwg and fengshui info files to boot. Think you'll find most do the same for obvious reasons these days.
Other than that every bit of the course so far has been totally enjoyable extremely easy for me to pick up on and have scanned through the entire scope and contents of it several times in the process.
I like to apply personal efforts, the old fashioned of taking notes and thinking things through, etc to cement what I learn.
So I expect 3 months a good figure although I could crash it with just answers alone to the questions in a very short time as really familiar with the great bulk presented. The results will be apparent at times soon here no doubt.

All of these have R stars involved either of changes affected by changes or of the date in these, so you can expect about anything of R star areas of date and frame!
The wood and fire elements are the void, weak and troubled ones for 18th those can affect the status of the R stars in these for some or any of it's areas as a general hint. Went over them a little further and doesn't look that anything really huge or out of control results and most of any minus would relate to hours involving the wood elements.
Ok not negative but out here have rain think could be enough they'd refer to it as that in the metro also. Initial is of hr's e and w in direct but of clash and bond then of changes that brought about. Those in effect caused quiet P stars to move. Will expand on specifics for later and no just recording hadn't watched any news or weather but read some yesterday.

There was no clear winner in the tosses department today as far as in the various and number of events themselves matching up to each.
In paticular this is of cases when your are just asking what is up or in, what's the main core of things for country, place, person or thing or what's my general fortune this frame, etc. Comes out about the same as far as matches for that type, saying either is useful and useable here.
A good number of events actually crossed the boundaries and are inclusive in both, while a few specific leaned more to one pair versus the other and evenly so in that.

Each pair also did have it's own unique and separately distinguishable of predictable events come up today and as noted above those crossed pair boundaries also.
Also in our rain here it was nice to see that my water manifest method still holds along with that of what was near traditional as well. Then on that in after fact or conclusion there it's showing that the two tosses in star aka aspect expressions for that when combined likely make for a date good indicator too.
Some interesting in today's that to do with NY or NYC Solar company downsizings in global vis Chinese competition now in that arena, then that of NK nuclear test threats, and also in the environmental that of China's 3 Gorges Dam in current multiple and many dangers areas. Then that of Mexico's Mt Popo Volcano rumblings and status.
The nowadays near typical of senseless murders a few almost daily in that and this date or in it's news that of women committing them more often too.
A number of mainly social, political in all strata's and also some religious arenas involving all had their own matches in these pairs for the date as well.

In terms of matches today and then some of the predictive I stay quiet for the time being found the news results in events today was extremely useful in both validating the tosses for those and in the measurement of relevances between the two different types for that purpose in the comparisons. Can say using the expanded interpretation method of the school has been a great aide to me in every facet of this so far as well. Have went about half way through it already as again while some new terms and very good formulas hadn't seen or used before it just comes to me pretty fast from all my prior work.
Slept late but not going to stay late as body bites me good there, just want to remind that any can do the same thing as far as tosses go.
Yours will in most cases come up different pairs, etc but a certain number of themes or patterns will be very similiar as long as your sincere and toss properly asking the same question(s) in the same way that I do them.
Where our themes are same or similiar then the very same global, etc events will turn up as matches in yours as mine with not that many differences in that department either other than pair names themselves.
In some references and definitely from superiching rules too what you get back always has at least some small connection to you and maybe even your situations as well but that of and ongoing you asked of will have the same and be that which syncs up for both.
It's good in personal alert senses to if happens to be major for you while representing and answering that you've enquired of. In this set of first pair I immediately dropped more into chill mode in precaution and were some small effects.
Sometimes it's pretty minimal and near wholly of the questioned, but as said you can do the same exact thing like for the U.S., global or local in questions and expect to get reliable and trackable results. The longer you've done it as a routine likely the better the results, but again once learned you can do as good or better than I here.

Comes out much more clearly with that pair and was very easy to pull out all the *exact timings matches* since last friday with that pair representing the system!
The prior pair caught it so well, as that was the major advent time of major changes then, whereas the latter of present pairs are mainly of different areas which only hinted at the rain versus some on it's lines. The original system view from the major changes time which I synced into then has been the better pair to track with.
Having a real rough start today as woken up early with foot and leg cramps and had to stay up an hour till got those to pass. Then had also taken a muscle relaxant which for me close to like waking up with a severe hangover would be for someone else, and a very druggish feeling. Have to work with that foot and leg area today. Some is diet too many sub sandwiches daily instead of regular meals, and have to do a major cleansing to better the circulation again. Can assure you today is no fun.
Our current pairs do still have a lot of matches even as diverse as the Jon Stewart flap in the Catholic view at the present fits.
Note on Online Wen wang gua courses (WWG aka WWBG):
There is one serious drawback although you can indeed take just that course independently and by itself which does have the course questions within it also.
However they will not certify you unless you take their entire feng shui course as it's one of the pre requisities of their feng shui course itself!
That could very easily run you well over a thousand dollars and more in total, and although that's nice for the subject of feng shui one really doesn't need that for the wwg portion alone.
That's obvious since there are so many independent books on the subject available too. One or more books of those books were written by professional feng shui grandmasters themselves says the story.
So many would likely bypass the certification part.
Very likely I will too as their WWG aka WWBG questions just pertain to the basics and mechanics of what they teach of it and nothing else but the one course is needed to answer those.
So most would know their own potential in the wwg from that alone and then over time depending on their own personal experience using the wwg their mastery of that subject itself.
The real proof is in your own personal results being accurate and that becoming known to others is how you'll ultimately be judged in the field if you take it too that level.
In result I would recommend any online course in that as they do supply certain added or xtra hidden infos and formulas that both aide and often supply solutions in themselves beyond that of most books.
That and the very strong repeated emphasis on a given major procedure you'd be taught which is used in setting up the hexagrams for interpretations themselves. That also including examples that thoroughly cover all the possible specific types and cases found in hexagram and timings results that do come up using it.
You can get the correct results with any of several books available but you would be able to get those results more easily and with a more complete understanding of them after having taken an online course.
So it's still very definitely worth taking a wwg course alone as is and then whether they certify you or not is not the most important thing in the world.
Truthfully I think they should but those have their own views.

By star then can be some rough stuff in some areas of the world. It was available in Thursdays

Things of the Shun wood trigram areas are fundamental in those, and from original date keyed in some negative of a penetrating effect or encouraging via Zen upper and draining effects via the Kan upper type areas or outer events (corrected).

The month is always used and of this pairs only it's bonds or clashes would have been considered ignoring strengths per se as this was just a special 3 day frame being covered and not a month, nor was a yes or no type answer required. Were such than would have considered strengths from it as well.

If you use the easier long haul E-W 8 Mansions system: Then after drawing the 8 directions sectors overlay and marking their directions add the trigram for each direction and it's star number under it in the outermost circle or octagonal wheel. Reserve a center and also put the house type sitting trigram there and it's number for house type ID or use the #5 star instead either or both fine.
Mark those fortunate and unfortunate directions in them we covered before for both the home in that outer circle and between it and the inner one for center add your personal ones if desired like near top page here.

You want cutting to the chase to basically use *anything which inherently moves, absorbs or transfers and transforms actual energy of or involveing the needed element for a room or sector*!

You can easily find many examples for each element type that qualifies in that both here on the net and in many good books as well.
Properly placed considering any constraints is good and can be even better if you happen to know an auspacious time for it too.
Each thing has it's birth, but if not then placing them in needed areas is still going to be of good benefit.
Can't quantify the amount of benefit nor that of a given life area by using them, but the world over in that arena says they do increase ones good fortune in the same and cut back on losses, accidents and ilnesses in other.
If you can use the wwg then you can toss on just that if felt needed to either or both pre and post access it.

[As said it is all done by timings as well, even if one had no particular cures applied, but on the other hand countless people have said they get near immediate effects after applying them!
It's quite possible that using these physical cures which can include shapes and forms as well may take what normally would only occur in year and month levels down to that of days and hours instead!
That as the cures are effecting transforms and boost the fortune for the given area to a higher level than without it]. That of course is my take on and how I view it.
Besides those:
You can declutter room, hall and entrance areas to allow for better chi pathways and flow in the home. You should if safe and possible partially open a window in the facing direction and one in an exit direction if possible on auspacious days at least to let stagnant chi out and fresh chi in. Let the home aka structure breathe.
Next would also suggest removing the sharp corners off of any furniture, basins and if can door entrances, borders, etc those all emanate Sha qi.
Oddly there's a way most can prove that point to themselves by simply noting how a pendulum aka *dowsing rod* behaves as move directly in line with such and edge ot corner to that of an open space, you'll find the behaviors and responses of the device much different between them.
Meaning it does find and recognize the difference and Sha qi (chi, ki) has it's own fields which are of very unfavorable energy to stay exposed too, not to mention the hazards of running into a sharp edged area for the family and kids.
Very often as within a couple of weeks a desired event or opportunity of the desired nature pops for them. Some even within a day or two. Would suggest take the long haul view of 6 months for something major though does very, very often occur much quicker.
There are other methods such as meditative or prayers and affirmations types some use, but consider very personal and up to the individual there. Would certainly consider it ok and good to pray for the changes you want to see enter your life as well bottom line.

In my opinion you should indeed take the actions and place cures of the operating types have mentioned in your sectors aka rooms that need them and the boost.
That as they will improve conditions for you and can highly speed up some of the improvement and opportunities you need.
Consider any new things you want to happen as a project, even long term and be actively working on it as it takes your efforts to make things come about. The Feng Shui actions are too enhance that area for better fortune and will likely speed it up as it's an extra element beyond strictly that of time itself!
Taking what you think or believe to be positive actions to improve your personal conditions and areas is it's own helpful and healthy achievements and goals psychology which can put your mind and your frame of being into a much more positive state.
So that's a positive side booster from doing your cures as well.

Apply your cures at the year level is the most practical and definately the main needed, then if you happen to have more time or have one specifc area in mind you can modify month by month additionally.
To learn the timings I suggest that you keep a consolidated monthly log or a journal *one for each sector aka room area*.
Note the conditions, status you started with of life areas ongoing that go with that sector.
Note the star type of the year with that of each month for each sector direction per the Lo Shu square. Many sites list those month by month as your resource.
Then each date something major comes up or that you do something plus or minus log it and that date and/or time plus the happening into that month's log for the appropriate life area sector.
Then end of each month you can reflect and better understand what the month's star brought into the picture and how it operates.
In just a few months time you'll understand the timings very well as you get the FS star date timings here to boost your log entries with. The date bumps against the month for given actions,
events.

To come to those conclusions in the last month have probably looked at what around 50 or more different feng shui sites and articles, and plus had to say on the matters. In that also found that or greater in testimonials, some pretty strongly worded on the positive effects and times involved.
On and off though have had books and read on these subjects working some of them nearly 30 years. The wwg just starting to approach a decade but more than 80-90% of that was as a very ill and hindered person so only in the very last few years made a lot of strides in putting it together with great aide from various authors throught their books as well.
At most have only used a tidbit of any's words as most areas including the old dowsing and pendulum stuff I did years back myself even wrote about various experiences and have personally checked Sha Qi as far as it being detectable and was. Fields around forms vary, etc.
I still don't give it absolute guarentees as can be factors don't know about in particular homes, etc but as far as the theory and under the constraints I mentioned it indeed looks very plauseable.
That being the case I recommend any try to use them and after a year any will certainly know the rest.
Get types of the natures I mentioned and can choose those from matchings you find at feng shui sites or of their books. Not responsible for your errors as if you don't study as have shown and suggested the particulars or have a feng shui consultant access it for you possible you will make some errors as to usage and placements.

Man is not at all helpless as far as the energies and their themes existing in a given environment and time.
Man generates his own Chi and stars and by taking actions in those can offset, counter a lot of any negatives and their archetypes there.
Not perfectly or in total when it comes to the natural types as some of those are at force(s) levels way beyond those of man, but certainly there's a lot through choices made in which he can retain control in the environment.

We ourselves use the energies in terms of element natures and characteristics every single day in the course of our own actions.
Man doesn't control the destiny of that applied by the heavens but man can through his own nature and choices highly modify a good share of the specific results.

In that knowledge counts so by recognizing the changes in the environments around us that which brings them on and understanding that certain characters to them are indeed functions of time, time frames, etc then man can better work with whatever the energies are at his particular location at any given time.

Ok what about the physical element cures aka objects that people commonly use for specific rooms, etc of a structure??
That to me is lower level feng shui and while it's somewhat debateable I indeed do *respect* that of the actually many millions in various SE asian locations use.
That as it is in some respects coupled into their beliefs and festival worship timings (Same as any religion) also. That associated their religuous or higher power beliefs I would never disrespect.

Separately I will be doing research and experiments in that area regarding some physical element cure types also and at some point when have results and conclusions to present will do so.
Those will not be used to undermine any's beliefs as a lot which happens or manifests for an individual can stem from purely that of beliefs itself. So in some of such cases those cures may work for them where for others may not.
Feng Shui is in a lot about living in harmony with nature or even all things and is presented to you in that very worthwhile higher ideal and goal.

That of monday 3/26 was the most direct and obvious in terms of the dates flying star for any's centers used here which is for any location globally on down to locales, homes, the lower abdominal and sacral of body and further to the most miniscule environment as well.
In that mentioned a few of the most main of the stars character and attributes then mentioned it's venue aka the how and in what areas it played through and out in the NE yesterday.
The same approach can be applied to any sector and the star resideng there as it as any has a center as well.
Shows how the center of any structure strongly influences all other sectors.
That's the keeping it simple view but there are other elements to it where actions going on in other sectors at year, month and day levels are also being carried out and of which some of those cross and carry over directly or in the hideen which can cause or feed into the actions of the one we happen to examine.
When one becomes more skilled than they can determine those other factors influencing which can involve other locations or people from the other directions playing into a present's on goings.

Mention so the lessor experienced and the younger definitely don't fool themselves into limited thinking such as: "Well there's the date's FS# and that's not much only covers the center and that wrote about, big deal"???
No there's a lot more to that of it versus a given date, etc then initially ever meets the eye.
Much more than even your locales best hack jack or techy scientist or super sleuth could ever percieve. Takes effort, consistancy, objective intellect and maturity of experience beyond that of a particular talent or skill.
So much that it's impractical to write it all on any's page but over time as and if you become *more *objective* and experienced* you'll pick that up too.

It's powerful information(s), stuff that improves ones knowledges to that about them and in which they must live, and can lead one to major positive advantages in any area versus the competition(s)! That alone makes it a very worthwhile goal to learn.
It's easier to start with then the wwg iching and for many that would be the way to roll.
Once you've gained both maturity and objectivity through experience and it's use, then you can always try to pick up the wwg which will be easier at that point then.
On the wwg that I've mentioned using it totally applies and the best example I've seen on using it with a home or any structures feng shui was by Raymond Lo.

I get valid results using just 6 coins for that.
However I would advise others with less experience or in the initial if new to these subjects to use the traditional 3 quarters multi change line such as superiching or any for *the year view at minimum*.
That's just a standard toss type:
Use the G (money) star as your appointed, the colors, lines and stars all of their normal meanings.
Lower trigram inside the home, Upper trigram the main door, entrance and all external to the home and outer public life will get it.
6 coin a single toss, 3 quarters then 6 tosses provide the hexagram pair(s) as results.
After doing the year of a home or structure for the main applying overall assessment, then you could optionally toss on other rooms for their affects, conditions.
For sub details to the 3 coin results of any line you could then confidently use 6 coins for those questions.
On optional monthly assessments you can use either both work fine there.
In fact I've learned that in areas of strictly feng shui and specifically on the cures (elements) it's very likely you can ask the very same question twice and in the same chinese hour as well on those.
On cures elements in recent vis K star appointeds they came out exactly the same for me so mentioning that.

Also some cures elements may be a surprise to you as sometimes no cure is needed at all because the element of the month is the same as the cures element that would be needed :).
On that subject whether we or you use cures is entirely up to you and if you ignore that's up to you:
What is more important and 100% useful is to know what energies are present where and what areas of life will be affected!
That and timing informations on them will add to your home and other safety as well as allow you to make better decisions on what to do concerning any given life area in a given year or month.
Such can further improve your own quality of life and a good enough reason in itself.

Do the EZ 8 Mansions feng shui first by fully assessing the structure or home by doing a chart first, showing it's 4 fortunate and 4 unfortunate directions, and add yours, etc to it.
If can't or as extra look up the year's feng shui forecast on the net and any Lo Shu square depiction and apply it.
A lot of xtra info on constructing a chart in articles below plus mentioned getting the book if you can as it is so handy in pretty much all facets or using other free net resources.
Up to you on which stars or trigrams if any you enhance or apply cures too, not responsible for your choices and such but main ones can use are #1, #3, #6, #8, and #9 in enhancements or activations. They are not all timely in period 8 *so read up and of any you choose apply carefully* and do observe results versus time itself. Any sudden unfavorable in those areas may indicate you need to remove the enhancement or add a cure there with it.
Some also include the #4 star as well so look up what they have to say and decide for yourself, as far as month possibly ok, also in one sense we do have to work with them all one way or another anyway!
That of 2, 5 and 7 you need to consider cures for those areas.
Mainly try to stick to the structures fortunate directions at the least and other up to you.
Very important if don't, then at least add to it this year's Yellow #5 star in the SE sector and also annotate as a reminder GD for grand duke focus area there too. and lastly denote 3K for 3 killings in the S sector. Aside the #5 star each is a 15 degree wide area as mentioned earlier so observe the cautions and don't spend much time in them if at all possible.
That gives you it's basic *feng shui energy picture* to refer too which is essential to have and base any enhancements or cures from.

Stay very practical *do not go over board in monies buying enhancements or cures* unless you can well afford and make sure you do a lot of reading there or get good opinions before you buy.
There are a lots of simple enhancements and even cure types that cost very little and often nothing as in some cases as you might already have what you need laying around.
Go for that.
Practical considerations example:
I did one overall toss and the very best on home I can do this year is hold steady minus any unavoidable.
So it would be pointless to spend a lot of money or go overboard with cures and enhancements, just using any basic good enough.
So some even a lot like me will also have strong limits and then yet others will get more and
even better benefits per the year.
So that will have to do and I'll work with that but won't go overboard in the $ areas for sure.
Your in your home a lot or most of you are so take the time to learn it's timings also by observations of what star areas of the year and months add in that which goes with each sector aka area.
Ok on the other of feng shui it's not that money falls out of the sky no one says that.
It's an added extension to a persons luck that is not personal as it's that of the structure itself.
It just provides a separate venue, and comes mainly in the form of *additional opportunities* from what have read and nothing may happen if the person doesn't take advantage of them.
Some in fact many would involve require risks of the wealth types as in lottories, stocks, etc but not always as again depends on how things set up what is activated and getting the best support. The luck may occur in your career or promotions or other areas altogether.
It's not always easy to activate a wealth area in every case either it may be in somes afflicted sectors one of the 4 unfortunate directions or maybe in the #5 star, grand duke or 3 killings areas.
Harder to enhance those but likely can improve some as one can use other positive star types in other home sector areas to make gains in. It's not always money itself or alone.
If #8 star and perhaps your original wealth star are in the better sectors then likely you can expect very positive results with a lot less effort.
That may all be hard in somes charts of a particular year but then you take it to the other remaining positive star types and work with that.

On the home and directions stuff for others you do have a *9 year* cycle fail to observe cautions then within that span you'll have matches to items specifically listed of it.
Usually more than one as some will be minor and a few quite major.
In sticking with plus directions of the home in my own facings and sittings in the day for just a week now, can say my body does like those a lot better don't become as weathered or uncomfortable in them as do the other.
Here talking about sitting and being in 1 as opposed the other *for several hours* and most factors that I know of being equal. Then knowing I'm avoiding negative influences is a cushion also.

On those things we don't expect immediate disasters by not observing directions *but over time* the ill does manifest and each given year can alter somewhat the exact specific that comes up, with the main still applying.
Have seen huge examples of those in others homes also which is a very big point to me as in the home is long haul and a major portion of our lives, so it's important to understand what type of energy is where to avoid the most negative of them and enhance the positive.

Talked with one of the Thai family a step brother last night who gave me wife's younger brother's cellphone urging me to call her for some unknown reason.
Turns out it's was in such a location or to do with the cellphone maybe that couldn't call or get through as carrier said was invalid, yet know it's not.
Not a biggie as she will return to other location in a week or so and have free number set up for that one.
So that's an unusual mal twist of the SE direction that goes on for me at the moment of that arena.
In the overall no one with my health would want to be stuck in this type situation it's not a picnic and definitely has it's dangers. Not every but in recent had been too many days where even in the house will use the cane or more just to be sure won't fall.

You'll slowly find many such will occur over the course of this year for yourself as well.
Anyway if you don't dig in or try for yourself and make those observations over a years time of what is a 9 year cycle for yourself, *you have no room to talk*.
For yourself does mean your own personally because it's what you and/or your family experiences that is the most important.
Apparently some working hard to generate ill and slanders for others of that, but none the less will push that of the feng shui forward so more rather than a select few can obtain the same of the areas that benefit. Also to aid in cutting the barbs off those making slanders just because there's energy in those areas of it to be made. We are supposed to be above that or strive to be anyway.
A lot associated Tai Sai (Jupiter) in the SE this year fans the slanders. Tai Sai's nature is warlike and said somewhat associates authority in that as well.
You have to look at the year's element and see what it opposes also, so in year of the Dragon (cn) it opposes Dog (sh) and simiiarly affects Ox (c) and Rabbit (m) vis Tai Sai in slanders and more.
Most of the warnings to do with that of Tai Sai in the SE1 Shun trigram Ch'en Mtn apply to that of the NW1 Chen trigram Hsu Mtn sectors of 15 degree width's in general too, being opposite they interact strongly. In E - W 8 Mansions simply the SE of Shun trigram and NW of Chen trigram areas.
Now just because it operates as in any year against certain signs doesn't mean that all details or every case and event even concerning them will be correct as presented by individuals or groups and why the word of slander used, it's just that they will be unfortunatly more subject to events of that nature.
Feng Shui E - W and/or Xuan Kong basics and more:
Understand that the wwg itself backs up many of the stated meanings within feng shui theories, which tells you it's valid stuff.
Just before examine a bit more should mention the avoid sectors for *the year*:
Take in practical senses you should avoid any lengthy time in, or certain types of actions in directions mentioned below (refined in later adds above with two items just 15 degree spans), inclduing don't face them if at all possible especially for any prolonged period of time, nor dig, renovate or construct there.
S has the San Sha *energy* focused there and called Sarm or 3 killings also which means 3 types of major bad luck when afflicted.
SE is a very bad luck area this year has both Wu wang the 5 Yellow star, plus the focus of the Grand Duke also Tai Sui (Jupiter)
Important: Do not place objects with moving parts there even clocks or aquariums, etc.
The latter also very much impacts some of Dog births but several other signs are affected in terms of the trinities and other there too, those signs can expect very ill slanders from others amongst other things in a lot this whole year.
A natural tendency of enemies and gossips is to slander and stir things up whether true or not doesn't matter *it's what they do*. That's of human sense and localities not that of news per se, expect obstructions from such as well, often those are the little ceasers of small places or someone who knows one or some of those and with nothing better to do and have problems of their own. In many cases just based off of jealousies and their own shortcomings and nothing more.
The slander and mal gossip associated some stars are just that, but do cause those recieveing inordinate problems and obstructions. Some profaning to be good are far from it, and nothing but frail and pathetic in their behaviors and part of what you can expect.
Read several of the forecasts made for the chinese signs in other areas to see if it's major for you this year. If so take delight in that it will pass to others in the next year.
Those are global and also apply to any fixed local area, location.
They fly like the rest so are monthly positions as well.

One short FS article written by a chinese man and practitioner had found very interesting and worth mentioning here especially for those who like the practical and find Xuan Kong a headache or just too complex for them.
Basically he'd said that there were Villages in China which have well over 100 year old structures in many instances and *that there Feng Shui was excellent to this day*.

The same had never ever used or needed the newer more advanced of the Xuan Kong flying stars system!
Quite a great statement in that and many in India using E-W compass school Feng Shui were of the same accord as well.

Now make no mistake the Xuan Kong flying stars is the current standard and is indeed more faccurate especially in the fine *there is no doubt about that. Using that system will allow for more accurate feng shui depiction, analysis and greater and finer enhancement works to be done especially in the health and wealth areas as you get the stars for those in each home sector as well. So it's the stronger but much more time influenced system that's used in advanced and professional feng shui.
However in main stay and the long haul the older E-W compass school system is very adequete too.
The latter is very easy for any to learn also, as in the book I'd mentioned before Feng Shui for Dummies 2nd or higher edition and one site had mentioned of which there are many additional simply great ones who provide that information as well.

In the advanced using Xuan Kong most of us overlay the E-W aka 8 Mansions aka Pa - Kua sectors right over the house drawing and include the 9 sector Lo Shu Xuan Kong flying stars system and then most also integrate that of our own personal kua + and - sectors within the house E-W Pa -Kua chart as well. Triple to quadriple layered all in one shot views.
Some softwares do all that for you while some other provide each type as separate distinct or non overlayed charts.
[As long as all of that is included in them then such constitutes actual fully complete professional software for work at that level].

However for the general public and individual ease, practicality and the long haul you can use just the E-W aka 8 Mansions system itself.
That's Pa - Kua type itself to which you may add the Black Hat Ba-Gua for what are called enrichments if wish but not neccessary.
Note Pa - Kua and Ba - Gua actually the same thing just some differentiate certain features and rules by names is all.
Just a good *magnetic north* oriented compass used to find your structures *facing* and sitting directions by degree which sets the structures trigram (Called it's Kua aka Gua) and type from the 8 types total and opposite the facing usually from the main used door you use, then draw out a circle or use line segmants as vectors forming sectors over your hand drawn floor plans. Start by indicating your main door direction within it's sector and handy to add a symbol representing magnetic north external to your chart as well.
Oh some argue the facing direction of the home in terms of how placed relative the outer environment too.
That's up to you and you can try both if there's a difference, however myself I prefer the main used door as most do as it's the mouth of Chi (Qi) point *for energies and what you bring in to the house* and it is extremely important to consider for just that reason.
So in general I would always use the main used door as the facing direction.
The outer environments and other windows etc facing methods some use are in my case not the same as my *main used door* it's opposite those.
Turns out in actual living working practice in reality and for all the events that have transpired for well over 20 plus years now those all bear out and agree with the main used door as the facing direction!
The compass reading *must be exact to the degree and half degree adviseable* and that is so essential as you want the sector directions your house aligns too to be exact. Take several and be sure as you want to be sure of what energy is in each sector and of that what cures if neccessary.
Everything about the structures depends on the *facing* degree of the door therefore structure being accurate.

The opposite it's sitting degree and direction sets it's name aka type by the trigram that identifies house type of the 8 types available and on degree measurements there are some special issues for a certain few degrees that can strongly affect a structure.
Each sector or box (sectors easiest viewed) of the E-W system aka *8 Mansions directions* represents either a favorable (auspacious) or un favorable (unauspacious) direction! 4 will be of varying order of auspaciousness and 4 of varying order of unauspacious.
Once you know the home or structures sitting trigram type which is also considered the F1 direction and was based as opposite from the *main used* door facing direction in degrees, then you can look up those other directions from that trigram house type.
Haveing that book will be very handy one stop too and there are many others of those as well.
The 8 direction types are based from your home's main Kua (trigram type and #) you found.
Charts depending on who wrote or programmed the directions have 2 common
designations with word dialect differences for each of the 8 directions.
Basically similar too:
F1 Sheng Chi F2 Yen Kian F3 Tien Yi F4 Fu Wei
H1 Ho Hai H2 Liu Shu H3 Wu Kwei H4 Chueh Ming
You can look up meanings or use a book or the site(s) as suggested, etc.
That of F1 Sheng Chi is that home's sitting trigram (Kua #) you found and the most fortunate direction.
There is a specific ordered line manipulation method applied to the Kua trigram that generates the trigram for each of those directions which you can learn or just go to a lookup table instead.
Anyway you place those in the appropriate sectors on chart and home plans you drew.
That allows you to identify and note down the good and bad directions aka sector and room areas in your home, etc.
You can do near the same for your personal life directions from your birth which is calculated from a formula which differentiates for gender also.
In general if you were born prior to Feb 4th or 5th of a given year then you use the year prior for the calc.
Many sites have those also as lookup tables per the year of birth.
E-W or 8 Mansion Kua calculators for both that of buildings or personal life directions of people can be found all over the net as well.

It's the home, etc in directions that are *the main ruling as to what can occur in each sector*, while your personal ones like an item or element act as an influence to them.
You want to use the positive ones of the home in the main and down to the month, that again makes that book very helpful.
In daily travels you should use 9 star Ki which from your birth ones determines the fortunate and unfortunate ones of each date. That's all 9 directions including the center as originating.
Alternately in the wwg if concerned we would just toss for:
Is it safe to go *-----* today or today at this time?
If get a K star physical aka Subject or bond to one then fine and by colors and lines see if any direction has issues too. Usually a K star physical line good enough and note what the changes and (U) Object destination shows as pointed out in Alex Chiu's SuperIching book, etc.

[Special experiences hint for you wwg users:
That of *the most unauspacious direction* for some Q of a home's feng shui will most often show up as a troubled R star or one under threat and attack by some means. Most unauspacious means a dangerous area * and that is exactly what it comes down to in practice* ok.
Long haul stuff but a month change and right date and Ker pop or slam.
Important:
This is exactly why it's a very good thing to know what the feng shui of your home, etc is and that should be down to the month level definately]!
Dangerous means?
Depends on the environment sector trigram etc itself: Accidents, cuts, scrapes, falls, bones, eyes, heart and various organs and mal energy of fixed long durations for those areas.
Then there's the mal of the 5 ghosts sector of all sorts of nuisances, and ills which is a bad luck sector and if that area is *aggravated further by* room items aka element placements in that room or by the year or month's time stars and any other can get to be very dangerous for healths , fires and other, etc.
Again we think about the long haul but if make major changes things and accidents can and do come up quite suddenly.
Also a positive star that improves that area over time brings the good as well including wealth, one config commonly called 5 Ghosts carrying wealth or gold for example, but in general normally a bad luck area of the home as one of the four unauspacious sectors and directions.

One can using the wwg do it all, you can toss for the home itself, and for each individual room.

Vis line colors you'll see what *directions* favorable and not for them and the exact nature by star type and it's *element* plus *themes of their lines*, so things in a particular area of your house or room.
You set the frame in your Question as to year or month in general than on particular incidents you can examine by day (Just like on our monthly charts at top here).

You will still need to study the subject of Feng Shui itself via all facets of the E - W 8 Mansions system at the very least and drawing it's chart still a good idea and can reference tosses too that. If you go that far you can definarely uses with the advanced xuan kong system as well.
Understanding that of forms, shapes, colors plus mountain and facing star meanings, and other cures or enhancements types, etc from feng shui references as a standpoint still key to improving any area in a home.
Then via tosses you can ask over a frame such as a month, several months or a year will a particular element or enhancement and it's placement bring positive results for a particular room or area.
Timings to make the placements also easily found via toss and wwg.

So for those who learn the wwg it's a one stop source for most things including all of Feng Shui even if you scale to the advanced Xuan Kong flying star system as well. Basically you can totally rely on the wwg and yi-jing (iching) for it all.
Most already have great confidence in the wwg so that may be your easiest approach.
In alternate and actually xtra to the E - W 8 Mansions you should note down these on your chart too:
This section is of a 2nd *additional looksee* you can evaluate and make adjustments from!

In initial or first time feng shui eval or set up and for making adjustments to your home areas use the prior of the E - W 8 Mansion system first and only for long haul, that's all you need to intially do and apply some very good feng shui to your home, etc with.
This section not neccessary for that and is an initial means to further learn and refine the
feng shui for your home, etc which is still a notch below the full blown Xuan Kong system.
Ok each sector associates a direction and a trigram type for it.
Each trigram has and is a *Lo Shu number as a star itself too*, by looking those up for the year and later month in question you'll find out if they are timely or not by building period of construction in original.
Then in actual use:
Use the current period 8 for the timeliness of each sector area of the home, etc's with characteristics and attibutes. You can add a Center with the #8 period star and fly it around the directions in ascending order just as in any normal lo shu square.
Minus the full mechanics just aimed you at initial of Xuan Kong flying stars system using only the base time stars while leaving out the Mountain and Facing star of each sector used in it so less complex.

You place the year's annual and month's ctr star's in the center too and fly those around in ascending order by directions just as used in any normal Lo Shu chart. Examples on the net for those lo shu charts 2012.
You note the additional of the 3 killings in the S and Tai Sui in the SE this year to those as well.
The E - W 8 Mansions trigrams you started with include natural directions, life area assignments, states, shapes, textures, colors, body areas and many other useful info's that applies. Such will apply whether you add the time stars or not.

To those you can note the effects of the year's annual and then monthly Lo Shu stars applied to each of your home's, etc directions aka sector areas.

[Either and both will help you decide how to use and even how much to use or not use each area in a given year or month and whether cures or enhancements needed for it].
For healths purposes in feng shui it's always highly advised to arrange things such that in using you always or as much as possible face fortunate directions, especially beds, etc.
Those fortunate directions each have a list of uses plus items and areas they apply to study that.
Not done yet:
You also want to add or analyze your own and any occupants personal Kua (trigram) which is calculated by formula or just looked up from your birth year.
Male and Female are different Wow as if we didn't know it. Also in the book and all over the net too.
Those also have 8 Pa Kua sectors or directions of the auspacious and unauspacious mentioned already and are your personal for life directions.
Now you can identify your area in the structure noting what areas fortunate or not for you and your children or occupants too.
That of bedroom or *bed placement* within a room very important in long haul for healths, etc.
Look into your sleeping head and body placements also and anything or activity which you'll be doing of long haul in various home areas.
There are even bad behaviors areas that you might want to give some thought concerning children, etc.
In past like most I ignored but have in studies found a great many of the actual issues matched up, so I'm beginning to pay strong attention to the fine points on all these areas myself as well.
Indeed of the most mal areas and comparisons with how I feel when spending 2-3 hours in one as opposed to same in a good area does indeed have striking differences in what I experience and feel. So this also why I've started paying a great deal more attention too and making adjustments where and how I do things.
In certain areas and sitting for those lengths of time there are very marked differences in how my neck, back and other feel and I mean in quite strong and clear ways. As in here more tension accompanied by more pain, etc as opposed to a good direction.
In the short any ok but over time of just 2 to 3 hours major differences between them and obviously in my health I'd be more sensitive to it than most. However others may find same when they take it up to an 8 hour work day fixed in one direction or another as well.

In these charts if you wish you can add the #5 star as center or central star in the charts also for the missing 9th sector direction or box. In actual Xuan Kong that would be different as has it's own center palace and star, etc.
The great bulk is of my understanding and actual use of the feng shui itself and a confirmation that we can improve our living conditions and experiences in our own environments to some extent and any proper improvements we make can indeed benfit us.
In close on that the Xuan Kong flying stars system is as said the very best and in that for example you might see the main used door turn out to have mal components and bring issues you wouldn't want as can other sectors.
So that's the preferred system but even in that all of what has been said of the E - W 8 Mansions and often additionally the Ba Gua's 8 enrichements are still factored into those.

That means as an initial base you still can't go wrong by using the E - W system to start with all by yourself for the long haul plan, your much better off with at least that then nothing at all, and add the other of time stars for sectors in will be a major aide for observation, more enhancements etc.
That as most cures are made at the year and month levels anyway and by observations you can experiement with what is shown for your unfortunate directions using the common feng shui for those.
One of the pro's for the easy case is that the trigrams found for those house sectors will always be true and hold no matter what. So you can work with their characteristics.

On wealths for me it's more like holding on vis the enhancements in my case to offset others as schemers trying to lash onto and that would be the best that can be done this year.
Activating the #8 water facing star location in your chart enhances your wealth areas.
Hadn't started on that anyway just working on the healths areas mainly after finding were actual strong differences in certain locations using the advanced not to mention some of the ills matching.
Feng Shui is about making time space adjustments in various forms not chants or things of those natures.

So again even if you just use the E - W 8 Mansions system these additional areas play into the feng shui of your structure's setting and that within it.
That of the outside external environment influences on your main door and more.
That of objects measurements used within the home for optimum H, W, D in the unit of measurement.
Measurements many ignore but give you an xtra edge likely you'll need a separate book on that or you'll find it included in some softwares such as Feng Shui Professional.
I use that one and the 24 Mountains software myself I like FSP for generating the directions over the house plans and then feed that to 24 Mountains for the 8 Mansions and Personal Kua overlays with the Xuan Kong flying stars chart.
Then I also use the FSP to entirely separately analyze the full Xuan Kong's flying stars chart for your home sectors down to the month level.

Minus measurements all of that can be done by hand also in quick by the site had mentioned prior and then get book mentioned for a full reference on the subject a good idea.
Except for measurements E -W and Xuan Kong charts are also freely calculated on a lot of net sites but latter are more complex so working your way up might be a good thing.
I recommend using the EZ and long haul of the E - W system to start out which may be all you'll ever need and then later on if you want even more distinct and stronger results add in the Xuan Kong to it.
Those subjects except for measurements are expertly covered for beginners in that book I mentioned and you'll still be taking all the steps I mentioned as well.
I have several such books but out of them when it comes down to just one that's what I recommend.

One of the reasons had said the iching was compatible to any's beliefs or faith is that it in some hexagrams the texts will actually refer to your personal beliefs.
Sometimes supportive as in telling you to hold to them when things are tough for example and at times it might admonish you but in general it's supportive for your highest good as well.
Another thing would be unlike man it is always there for you, and will provide it's counsel irregardless independent of any material world considerations, etc.
So in that sense like the most true friend you could ever have and one which is always objective.
The line texts of the iching never suggest or support your taking any ill action, but at the same time won't lock you out when you make a mistake either, so it's pretty compatible all the way around.
Vis the iching it's meant to provide counsel or guidance and then the wwg is meant to provide answers.
In both pretty much any reasonable question can be asked but best to stick with that of our physical world as it's geared to our lives, travels and growth within it.
That and in wwg it's geared to the patterns of all things through simply that of relationships.
On beliefs it leaves you free there and if your on the right track that which is harmonious all will be fine, and if not it will at the correct point chastise you and let you know.
Even in that it's not a matter of forcing you one direction or another as what ever you choose or become is and has to be entirely by your own free choices and personal growth.

The wwg allows one to find and see the true nature of relationships in and between things, and that alone is worth all the gold on this earth.
When you understand your exact relationship to another, others and or even all things aka or and the higher power you then know how to deal and exist harmoniously with each.
In extreme that may be total avoidance or severance in some *few* cases not all that many, and if it's not clear how to handle a given relationship you can get counsel vis the iching or wwg on that too.
That's also with the understanding that for some that of the higher power is nothing more than the universe itself while most see the higher power as an actual caring figure aka God.
The iching and wwg are patient in such and will still work to aide and guide the individual irregardless. that is purely the positive nature of the iching in my opinion.
If you were to use either the iching or wwg to exclusion of the other it will still over time lead you to a path of forming better or more harmonious relationships with others and peaceful types irregardless of beliefs or faiths.
That's an automatic result of the personal growth you'll experience from the understandings the iching will give you over time.
A total win, win were we to follow it all.
Being human most of us don't we have habits and fallacies which get in our way, some may be quite selfish of the ego or ingrained biases and patterns, etc. In that it can only help us if we want to be helped, but it won't hesitate to point out and remind us at times.
On that last part over time it can enable you to see the light which causes you to let some of the
ill in natures or patterns go, so is indeed of benefit in personal growths there.
Still despite our personal weaknesses it never lets us down and will always and forever present us it's counsel and answers.

Ok relationships and their aspects are the most essential part of the iching and wwg to learn and from that it's nearly unlimited as far as the questions we may ask and find answers too.
Through it you will come to understand that both chaos and natural order as well as growth, agings, and decay are all integral and normal processes of the universe and our own environments.
You will come to see through relationships in interactions and results that there are karmic principles in cycles and that certain patterns always repeat that aide our learnings and that there is also rules of karma itself as far as the fruits of our actions, etc.
There are some practicalities for example you couldn't use it to solve math problems or various other acquired skills, but you can use it to check on whether a particular answer or an approach to a challenge in any is correct in lieu.
Other than that there is not much of that which is physical and material or of theories that you couldn't ask and expect an accurate answer too.
It's also useful for advices on handling situations and finding the best strategy to apply within them as well.
It also provides us information's on our environment and our bodies and alert us to unseen dangers at any time we desire as well.
There are depending on activity type and the date timing good, mediocre and bad dates to do things or take particular actions on that also is sometimes *quite to extremely useful*.
Above and beyond it also provides the answer you need in terms of your highest good as well,
and once in a while to the exclusion of that asked, which you'll have to learn to recognize.
That and all the above shows that it's compatible to any irregardless of beliefs or faith and that any can benefit from it.

The quickest way to learn is to do similiar to here except a personal toss daily on: "Whats the main core in things coming up for me today?".
Substitute the word "week" for today if your time strapped and burdened or if extremely so "month".
Write it all down and keep a daily or weekly journal using either the iching or the Wen wang gua (wwg) your choice.
A daily journal if possible is best no matter what the frame asked of as you'll see how the chinese dates and therefore the stars in your pairs apply at a good frequency level that way.
[On most other questions to do with other things and matters my suggestion is that you pre-clear for that by first asking of yourself for the date, note that down and then ask the question on the other areas or matters.
That will give you crisper results and answers, especially with 6 coins and may or may not be neccessary with that of 3 coins, stalks aka traditional but from past results would think that it's a pretty good idea there as well].

Log all your events and things that happened or that you experienced which match up to your tosses via names and line numbers and/or the general of their texts or the star types, themes and line positions on, etc. Just like you were back in school taking notes again, except this is all about you and your vital life.
On texts try to establish a frame or context that such can apply in relative your question as I previously suggested for those.
Keep this in mind:
Consider but don't fret on the names too much.
Although the names in a pair may sound quite unbecoming or ludicrous to you, the actual answer part concerning you is just a very small part within, and that the pair is also representing many other things in the global as well.

Better though as each question and it's answer is time and situation dependent is to add the colors in too.

How long does a wwg answer apply?
If of the particular time asked the answer is permenant aka forever.
Can you ever re-ask that same question?
Yes if one of the variables important to the answer changes it's no longer permenant and may be re-asked at that point.
Can you ever get a single hexagram no change line answer using 6 coins?
Yes, cheat drop the dime or odd coin and use 6 pennies instead and now your down to the original 64 hexagrams for answers :)
6 coins here is for the ease and like that of the timed lunar or solar month pairs and very practical.

In either the number of possible answers are considered to be those that are practical. distinct and totally meaningful aka solid as opposed to what gets to be overloaded and not as useful of other systems.
