On the Lucky dates method which gives you an edge, that gives you more dates than an actual muhurta itself, and of the muhurta a few to none as actually great dates in one's given month...
Another way of looking at it, is if it was actually a great date by the Muhurta for you, then that by the Tara balum method will show good as well!...
The method uses the singularly most main of the 5 panchanga limbs of a date, so generates more dates, however as you can tell from the Video's people do happily use it, and it's free to learn compared to the $75 to $100 a pop for an actual muhurta where all 5 limbs plus an additional all line up perfectly...
In either case it's strictly for the individual and in the rarer a singular org of a given birth for a specific task, and would not work for something as diverse as a country, etc...

Usually I check the Qi Men as well and mainly in a data gathering form on some events themselves for matches as that, *and not of questions per se*...Basically accumulating data that can later be used in a forecasts form as well...
That runs differently as opposed to set standards in the evaluations of questions themselves...
In that use a very holistic approach where besides what's appropriate to the date and time I also look at and include opposite palaces for a more complete view, and in that if not already captured look at the palace which has an appropriate focus component...
Today's Amtrack and Truck event was quite easy as one main palace was about things of power and authority and things of ends, accidents or the deadly and then the main palace one would use with that was Void, saying outcomes wouldn't be so swift or good...
Then in that I included their opposites, which also happened to connect to a relevant point of focus aka the Travels Horse, and with it a component which amongst other and of transportations areas represents things of land, railways, highways and roads...On latter showed that of obstructings or blockages there as well!...
So all that was in for the date and hour chart then...
Anyway it's mainly from events themselves that I gather what will be useful data for similar and other purposes...
As far as definitions for the Dieties, Stars, Doors, and Stems like the short cutted ones presented in the Joey Yap course a lot, plus the more expansive of the needed Jerry King generic types as well...Then one can always add that of Calvin Yap's in some instances too...For certain of the first two, either could be used but is a bit easier when you combine sources...

[On my Qi Men event analysis other day and that of data gatherings, think most Qi Men types and others probably caught on that the more holistic approach I take is in *using that as a basic forecasts method itself* and then so far in the data's have gathered it looks pretty decent in backing that up!...
Such tells us the general of what's in anywhere for a given date and hour, and where it plays out aka as influences in all locations in various forms (some variences), and where for any one of them it may and can represent that of a very significant event as well...
About the only thing different in mine is that I include the opposites of the date and hour palaces and of any others used as focus to *get a much more complete picture*!...On opposites mainly just consider what's in them down to the trigram meanings level as additive to the other palace, and usually leave the xtra of palace relationships out...
Think may be some nearly similar examples in the Jerry King book...
When only a singular palace and a negative event, it's door in the minimum will be negative type or negative under control of the palace, etc, then add both that it produces and the relative of the opposite palace in for a more complete picture..If a focus point not captured in that eval it and it's relationship additionally as well...
Use what ever principles you were taught to form your own evals, use the combined of course and that of Jerry King's book as well in these myself, either alone should be sufficient....

Would apply it the same in Q and A types and from that and of results obtained, one can then really understand why chinese peoples anywhere hold such a high regard for it's use as a personal oracle...
On the latter there's more to it than what I mention, especially as to qualifying conditions within or of an evaluation itself that won't get into here...A lot is very well covered within the Jerry King book and others, and within their online courses on other pertinent additional areas as well...
In my opinion it excels in that of questions asked by others over other astrological methods and once learned is much easier than those, then you can also still use the astro type for the date and time as an additional confirm and for it's separate views as well...
In some courses that of personal destiny birth charts are covered which is a whole separate world in itself, and one that greatly aides the practitioner in that of quite hidden talents areas (of types not found in normal astro charts), and of the precise timings in which they can take advantage of them, both for themselves and for any others they choose to do so for...Those are mainly oriented towards improving one's life and obtaining greater success in areas of their choice, etc...

Aside national, locally were some appropriate to the FM chart and timings of arrests shown tonight to do with Medical and that in Capricorn 12th areas...
[On that of La School didn't get as strong a match maybe due to nature of event, but none the less got a basic match using Qi Men...
