Matches well that of the weathers, snow, wet, cold and natural stuff seems to still be the biggies there at this time, so just a bit on some odds and ends today:

Most notice that I'm not giving the Qi Men a great deal of emphasis lately, and that's as I'm satisfied with my skills in it, and I've returned to improving my knowledge and skills in  western vedic systems in the present...

Years back had put those studies pretty much entirely on hold to learn the Qi Men itself, the bulk from 2 main schools, and lots of additional from other authors, and a small but important in special areas from another school as well...

These days as mentioned a few month's back had returned to using the Chai Bu for the Qi Men Ju aka Dun counts for the Hourly charts...

Then of that many times their counts will be the same, however when not have found the Chai Bu  charts are the more accurate chart in terms of it's descriptives for that of events or forecasts!...

Chai Bu counts were what had originally started with years back before joining any schools themselves...

What nudged me was an everyday and growing irritation and disatisfaction with the interpretations, and results I'd get using the Zhi Run charts only, fortunately I ran into vis Youtube (TM) another teacher who uses the Chai Bu herself...

[*Dr Khim Goh one of  if not the sharpest person around who teaches the QMDJ had ever seen*]!...

Look her up on Youtube she's got a number of *free video's up there*, you won't regret it...

Obviously still use the Qi Men now, but on *events* and their interpretings coupling the WV Tropical Tajika system with it gives the much more complete, and exacting in accurate pictures and results!...

As far as ease of learning it's actually the Qi Men which is easier to learn and relatively quickly put to good practical use, though the process of improving one's skills is a lifetime pursuit there, while that of Vedic or Western Vedic is even more Mountainous aka Huge in the sheer amount of informations acrossed it's various systems in order to apply some of those well, too...

Other on formations in Qi Men some can be quite intimidating and conjure up very negative pictures in one's mind easily such as the *War Structure type*:

Actually it's not always a bad thing, for example you go outside and see aka observe that of a U.S. Marshall's vehicle go by and maybe a few minutes later you see a Vet making a U turn on your street, the Vet has a visible disabilities sticker so of the VA org...Those are positive examples seen of the War Structure so not all of it is always bad, every thing has it's place...

In books many negative and sometimes negative only meanings describe some components in a Qi Men chart, but *the truth is all components including those designated negative also have quite positive meanings as well*...Observations brings that home to one...

Those who have a WV background can further see what things like the War structure in timing means for them, by noting both the daily Vara aka planet of the day in your birth chart transits, and it's daily dasa's in play for them *at the time*!...

Qi Men is an Actions oriented system, however Observings are also a special unique action of their own, and besides taking actions in your desired Qi Men ventures, it's that of Observations over time which will further enhance your own learning and skills of and in it as well!...

 

Had mentioned that of the Prasna prior, which is the Vedic system of Horary there's actually about 4 to 5 *very different Prasna systems* that people use...

The most popular and prominent of those is the *Tajika Prasna system*, currently part of what I was reviewing, and now vis a much more complete course studying as well...

Most think of it as only used for the horary (asking questions), but it's also used *as an extension* in evaluating any birth or event chart as well, having a lot of fun there...

Sure has up to now of the weather's been a harsh period type, but even so people get good things done in it, and some Sun here finally was nice...

 

Hope didn't confuse any of yesterdays post on the comparisons of Qi Men hour and destiny meanings to that of Western Tropical Tajika in event charts...

The Chinese Arts systems are highly creative and distinctly original on their part as based from both the Yellow Path of the Sun (Same the ecliptic for that of signs), and also quite a bit to do with the Big Dipper and the Pole star (Currently yet Polaris)...

That of the Big Dipper has 7 visible, and 2 invisible stars to it, and those are used in most of their systems be it Zhi Wei Dou Shu (ZWDS), Feng Shui, Flying Stars, and also as Stars in the Qi Men as well...

Though in Qi Men of quite different meanings in it's stars there...

The thing about the Qi Men and most chinese arts is that they are global and do not require a specific location instead applying to all locations at the same time...

Though actually it too is somewhat location specific of countries, as it's charts are each for a specific chinese hour, so you have to adjust vis the countries *timezone* for the same chinese hour as the chart your using, and the gregorian date must be the same for the countries looked at in that hour!...

As long as one keeps *the very same time* for the respective countries timezones then of the WV and Tajika charts, and of a specific range of lattitudes only *you can get the same physical sign*, and chart across the board if the gregorian date for them is also the same too...

Discovered that years ago, normally the only varience is in the degrees of the Moon, and unless another planet is at the final degree then all planets remain in the same houses!...

Across the U.S. for using a given time hour and minute then only about a degrees differ,ence for the Moon, then if use that same time for China the difference in degrees for the Moon around 6 - 7 degrees, and the chart physical and other houses remain of the same signs and placements in WV... 

 *So the two systems can be pretty accurately compared that way*!...

 

Still in some that of their Western Tropical Astrology does directly apply in the Chinese systems as showed of Feng Shui plus Solar terms, and some other areas even look to have originally been somewhat based from the Tajika astrology also...Such as War crafts, personal years, months, etc...

Normally do use WV aka Tajika Astro as can take to events in hours, minutes and seconds *down to any specific location on earth if desired*, and get very exact detailed readings of the situation or event itself!...

[Barring the latter the Qi Men is most practical, and does an amazing job all by itself in only sometimes requireing a person's year of birth, and then sometimes depending on start or what's being looked at, *just look at it's chart only*]!...

Even in eyeballing charts the Qi Men is the most easy, quick and efficient in selecting that of good dates and times for the execution of near any task or objective, then has other more unique or specialized areas in which one can find specific outcomes for those areas, or instead answer given questions on near any matter as well...

It's only weakness is in accurately delineating the types of events that will go down at a given location and time, there that of standard astrologies or the Tajika system wins hands down...

Qi Men is broader as it shows you the different trends of reigning energies of that available under them at the time, plus other specific personal or natural influences (conditions), and the types of *Actions* that you may choose or not to take under them!...

Also in the Magical QMDJ aka FA-QI-Men it has it's own separate *Fast Acting Feng Shui* which is especially good for quick enhancements to health, and other various specialized areas of one's home and business!...,

Some of the wilder stuff in Qi Men is the Setting Of Traps, Forecasting the recovary of a missing article, Forecasting the speed of a birth, Forecasting the Auspacciousness of a Trip, Forecasting Unexpected Wealtth, Test/Install Machinary or Softwares which is optionally good for several other areas also, the same for Filing Documents,  Tradings areas plus many other similar or associated that, those and many other unmentioned areas included in the Qi Men are strictly procedural, and not of the Question's type, nor do they require one's or others YOB...

All in all once you've learned it, then it's a great system to speedily use to accomplish or advance yourself or others in any main goal or area...

 

However when it comes to personal birth/life charts, and where one is at in life, and their personal timings then again that of Standard or *Tajika astrologies* offer the much more direct, full, and accurate in their many timings areas for that, over both the Qi Men, and even the more refined and famed of today's Bazi charts as well...

In birth charts using the Vimshotarri dasas the most popular of many, and it's standard 5 levels of Dasa's the 1st aka the Mahadasa level depending on the Graha (Planet or Shadow)  is of a 6 to a 20 year cycle, which changes, and begins another once a given cycle is complete...

The levels under it of course do the same and are for gradually reduced periods of time with the final 5th level aka Prana dasa is at the dates levels...

Some can and do take it down farther but the 5 levels are the most used...

Those very precisely show what is most main to one's life of areas their main direction in things at any time, also accurately describing the types and natures of events that come up for them in any given period as well!...

[On QMDJ these days are Zhi Run QMDJ chart calculators for both Android phones and the Iphone for the insitant of the hour charts and more, so those just using the Jerry King book for that of Formations, etc  can do it more easily on them now...

Such will never take the place of an actual course, but does make for a very useful small handy reference which further includes around 30 actual real case reads...Available from Amazon.com...

Beyond that not as handy in terms of carrying it anywhere you go, but a more thorough reference including all the heavens stems meanings of 1,126 pages is the Qi Men Dun Jia Compendium 2nd Edition by Joey Yap...Not as many case reads in it and not designated as actual of them though...It too can be obtained in E form for the Kindle reader and maybe the Google E pubs as well...

Both are good starting references but neither could substitute or compare to a trained teacher and their home study or online courses or the shorter go there seminar types...

Beyond the numerous of personal uses, many use with regard to various business and investments purposes these days...

As far as Qi Men courses unless your planning on physically taking them at an overseas location, there's the online type, the 2 I'm most familiar with are:

Then in other it's a highly simplified made easy approach for others to learn to analyze and use various QM charts in that of forecasts and predictions, and strongly tailored to that of wealths, business areas as well...

It's mainly the unique of a *highly detailed birth chart type* beyond any other, and other extra timing points with those that makes this a great course beyond others in that aspect...

All courses have their very strict copy right self protections measures, and aside of books all the pdf's downloaded in his course lessons associated the above courses *are trackers*, main purpose would guess is to be sure you don't send them to other non members of the Joey Yap courses, hence tracked...

Also within it he details how you can of the same book aside all hour charts, look up that for any year, month or day chart your intersted in, * so again very handy most all is in one place*...

All formations, palace configurations and other are taught and vis field manual in very easy and quick look up forms as well...
