[My only personal add to the QMDJ is the use of the hourly timed Wwg pairs which find serves as an excellent quick key in the interpreting of a given QMDJ hour, etc chart...*Applies directly when using Zhi Run counts*, and when Chai Bu, etc counts are the same as Zhi Run applies to it too!...
Currently those are out of sync and so only applies strongest to the Zhi Run counts at the present]...
Note most don't interpret many of those charts at any one time, as does take quite a bit of time in most cases...You do speed up but probably will never learn it all, and any does have other things to do in their day...

On the QMDJ not much, can't add much to any given in prior blogs such as May's, as it's a very secretive art, and many teachers or practitioner's hold some areas as quite *spiritual and or sacred*...
How accurate is it for the individual?...
In the observed it's most accurate to do *with the time that certain personal matters come up*, in fact it can be quite stunning in describing events of the moment, especially when *it's initiated of another outside party* involving you in the moment too, and of subject areas that are or may be a surprise to you*!...
Outside party can be someone you know or also those totally unknown to you in the prior also...
Wouldn't have to be of a totally surprise type, but those are the easiest of any daily personal events to remember!...
Had one Jun 4th vis a call rcvd in hr e that date, and it had also bonded the date pairs *vanished* physical and inner social area connection as well:
That formed water then for that of K star manifests and of which the cures areas for my wife, was what it was about...
Anyway looked at the QMDJ chart for that, as it was also a very cheerful natured type call for one that had just woke me up from a nap...

The least expensive to get your feet wet with in that without spending many hundreds to thousands of dollars is the Jerry King Qi Men Dun Jia (c) book!...
However it primarily covers that of divinations aka personal questions areas using the QMDJ...
Divinations is the term most chinese use as they have viewed and revered it for over thousands of years from a spiritual context, but in the more modern it's that of chart analysis, and more strongly refers to that of forecasts that are based on a given date and time and or situation...

Then strictly for that of events themselves, *after learning the above*, one could just use the specific date and time and any info on the given event to make some very good and useful chart analysis!...

Some tips for any who have or do purchase it:
Initially there's a pretty high learning curve if you have no background in any chinese arts, and it will take any a good while to gain some competance, some *Bazi*, Iching or Wwg background can be a big plus there!...
That of the needed bazi aka fourpillars is pretty much covered within the book, and you can use any free bazi aka fourpillars calculator on the net when needed...So no cost there!...

So as long as your determined and stick with it, you'll probably succeed in learning to use most of what that book offers...
After the basics of learning to read the stems and branches plus palace components in chinese (seems but is not hard, *just compare their symbols*), then *do give strong attention to it's initial pages, then in particular 61-62 and 89-92 *re read those until their concepts and other sinks in**...
Then the easiest chapters to start with (Each has examples.) are #8, #13 and especially *the very simple of #15* which most sports types would like...

Once you understand the procedures, *it's reasonable to expect it will take a few charts or rounds* until for a given area you get them down and have good results!...
Thoroughly read their Chapter topics info's, for the purpose of each indicator used, and then go through their examples, referring back as needed...
Page 43 would reverse the shown for the N and S directions of the two charts...
Then even if you don't hand construct a chart:
Make sure of the early chapters teaching you how to construct a chart, *that you pick up and understand what the terms of Envoy or Lead Stem, Lead Door and Lead Star refer too*, as you'll encounter those in some of the Chapter topics and Examples descriptions...
Useful for many app's but *no where near the same as taking an actual course* where you'd be exposed to a much larger number of areas and most in more helpful or great detail...

If you use the latter you won't have to worry about Chai Bu Ju counts it's adjusted to newer count for that, and correct, but even on other it isn't that bad as a lot of dates regardless of methods will have the same counts...

That book should start anyone out quite well and if dedicated and work at it, you can learn *of just the topics the book covers* as much or more than some expensive courses teach on those same areas, plus not have to leave your home to do it...
While that's a very big plus for such a small book, *other actual courses do cover either more aka numerous other additional topics, and or that of either very clear detailed advanced methods, or in some the also highly simplified for the learning process itself as well*!...
[Then again for just a bit over $28 there's nothing at all to complain about there]...

As long as your learning or using QMDJ from the Jerry King book suggest you stick entirely to Chai Bu or the adjusted of it for charts as it's based from that!...At the minimum for those charts in the book...
