That's as I use EST aka *Standard time* only which conforms to what all the Chinese Arts use!...

Lots to it, but in the simple use it's set info's selection to enter your chart in, and when have it right then save it as a .as file, you put your name for the chart just ahead of the dot . and *use the Save Positions* of selections.
Then next time select under files Open chart, selecting your .as file...

*Did not have to do* the non-sense of their original instructions such as lower UAC control to zip, and disable the AV, and Firewall, wasn't neccessary at all!...

Went VA today both things of Vascular and GU clinic went great, all quite helpful, in the minus my BP was 170/73 vis the back pain...
Had amazing timing as one older vet, and one same or an employee showed up at the precise time needed help to get up, in, then afterwards out of a large bathroom for a Urineanalysis test...Was a bit worried as the left leg doesn't work to well so very appreciated the help!...
BP shot up to 170/73 no question about pain there, at first thought was a #3-4, but was more like a #6 or above, despite that *all of with staffs, etc went very well*, and as soon as got home, hit the high blood pressure med!...

Still have to finish up the tropical software stuff, must have downloaded one about 8 times over the weekend, getting some remote help in a day or two, that software was missing 7 out of it's 16 reports and another issue, some likely of an Active X com control which their server didn't verify for Windows..
The first 9 reports worked fine, and it generates both accurate and great looking charts too...
Other report software for the WinStar6, etc is tropical also, *came out perfectly*, as all reports do in my Solar Fire 9's too...
Already had all needed for the Vedic sidereal types, so between all that, the horary, and the Qi Men will be good to go in many areas...

Both systems can produce excellent and accurate Solar Returns (Year Charts) for individuals, etc, Western usually the more verbose and detailed of it's reports, whereas the Vedic more brief but includes can include several different analysis types, and it leans very strongly to the accurate in actual predictive of *specifics* themselves in that!...

In comparisons on *main events any type* of the Qi Men find it very often matches aside personal actions, that event wise of the main initiaor (person initiating) quite well, it agreeing with *what the Astro* shows at the given hour, time of the Event as well!...
In main I use the Chai Bu counts say 98.8 percent of the time, but in the rare when the counts are different, will be a very few times when the Zhi Run does yield a better match...
*That I check when that of the Chai Bu results don't match well...Not very often there*!...
When some insist you must always take actions in using the Qi Men, that's true when you have a particular goal, objective to accomplish, but even when you don't take an action of a particular objective relative your destiny, you'll still find it's most often the actions of someone or some others in even vague ways (That on the Net or TV, etc) *relative you* that also matches your destiny and events at a given times!...
Just because you don't take an action in a given hour *doesn't in any way mean that no events will come up in your destiny areas*!!!...

One error had made when prior mentioning daylight and standard times was that called Local Mean Time (LMT) before the time zones themselves were created...
LMT of the Sun Dial type era's, though were various types of clocks then as well, believe the Sun Dial was their reference also, something any can look up if need...
On Vedic softwares use that of Rock Solid Parashara for that in degrees and minutes of the chart Asc, and Moon's for that of our NM, FM, and SM plus individual date and event charts...
In those the Moon's degree must be accurate to the minute, so when the others don't match up, *will then adjust their birthtimes by one or two minutes until they do match*!...
Usually Kala matches up quite well, but one Scientist's Vedic software on those near time charts can be off 1 to 2 degrees...
Then that of each softwares their Asc will then match quite closely as should...
*Are differences* mainly due to different programming languages, then different programmers and the code blocks that they create for the calculative routines, etc...

Then also are a couple of very sensitive points in a Vedic chart where of degrees as little as 10 minutes difference can shift those points up to a degree, *can't have that, as those must be accurate*...
When I get all to match up with Parashara's Asc (Lagna), and Moon's degree down to the minute, then get the accuracy needed!...

Haven't checked the exact on chart times where they fall out of convergence, but on any chart done for a year back or so they will all very acceptably agree, and be accurate...
In pasts had on just on a couple of forecasts not matched the Sun and Moon degrees exact as in hurry and always write all up in a single sitting, in future will always make sure have those matched up!...
That so always sure have the correct Moon's Nakshatra down to it's Pada as well, of which it's Dasa's, etc will then be totally accurate here...
Still a bit weakened from the *body shock* that goes when one's without their pain med, *lost a bunch of sleep then*, as I set the Healthmate Forever Tens unit to only 20 minutes at a time...
That as constant use for hours on end is not a great idea at all unless used at a very low level...
Have to start well ahead of the #10 pain level point, but doing that then keeps it from getting there, not that it didn't get fairly high at some points, but the Tens Unit definitly *helped*...

Others use are the very Powerful of the Shri Jyoti Star 9 Pro, and the very Versatile of/in excellent text reports vis Jyotish Studio 3.9 updated...

Such will never take the place of an actual course, but does make for a very useful small handy reference which further includes around 30 actual real case reads...Available from Amazon.com...
Beyond that not as handy in terms of carrying it anywhere you go, but a more thorough reference including all the heavens stems meanings of 1,126 pages is the Qi Men Dun Jia Compendium 2nd Edition by Joey Yap...Not as many case reads in it and not designated as actual of them though...It too can be obtained in E form for the Kindle reader and maybe the Google E pubs as well...
Both are good starting references but neither could substitute or compare to a trained teacher and their home study or online courses or the shorter go there seminar types...

As far as Qi Men courses unless your planning on physically taking them at an overseas location, there's the online type, the 2 I'm most familiar with are:
1. Have mentioned many times is that of the excellent and well taught of Joey Yap's QM (QMDJ) and his other courses...
In his you have the most advanced of QM chart types to at least 7 levels, but added levels are not shown in the books he sells, and is only available online to those during the study of those courses with a full year of online only use in his QM chart calculators included, and then thereafter you must pay a tidy sum on a yearly basis to use them...
It's also a more highly spiritually oriented course type in terms of the most detailed of birth chart types compared to other courses, and of some where that of the extra levels come into play too...

It's mainly the unique of a *highly detailed birth chart type* beyond any other, and other extra timing points with those that makes this a great course beyond others in that aspect...
