When hit + lower left corner of the editor to activate it, it comes up with a frozen cursor only, and does not display the user's home directory at all, which it does just fine on all other OS's...

So for now the only full Editor/Terminal combination for using Pyhon on Linux Mint is that of the *Spyder* which does a great job, and noted that the Turtle graphics work in it as well, except had to go to under it's files menu to select *restart* to exit the displayed graphic itself, fortunately it does much better on the Mac, yet still in all other it works *Great*!...
So far have to say the *Mac's* Bestbasic produces more refined graphics then Python on it does, but perhaps when I later on study the Deep dive Python course that may change...
Python's graphics remind me of the old GW-Basic's, and not nearly as good as that of Just Basic, Liberty Basic, PUREBASIC, or the BB4W Basics for Windows, though PUREBASIC can be used on Mac's, and Linux's as well...
Still Python is *Free*, and works quite well, and in other areas it's even easier to program in than that of most basics and other languages too!...

Spent lot of time in the Python classes, but finding for extra depth such as on the loops, lists, areas having a couple of e books on hand for extra depth can be a big help, that as some of the classes are high speed so they can just meet the end objectives of the particular course...
Basically some is apparently left for you to do yourself outside just that covered in some of the classes, so spend a lot of time in the e books had bought for that...So dance back and forth between the classes and those...
Many use the anaconda and jupyter notebooks, maybe later may use but prefer just using Atom on Mac as the class taking uses, that with a Plain Text Editor to put all my notes plus copy paste the pgms and terminal outputs back and forth in is more handy and easier to me...
Couple good e-books for that are: Python 4 books in 1, and Python Crash Course so get extra depth in programming examples...
Also there are some app's on Mac's and one Basic Learning Python course *that's very, very affordable*, and maybe not the ultimate in depth itself, *but all main basics are indeed covered*, and every area is *fully explained in a very practical way*, such that anyone can understand it, by guess who *Bucky*!...
